Paper Punch Flower Ornament... great for the kids and adults too!

Paper Punch Flower Ornament

Finished project photo - Paper Punch Flower Ornament
This is a great TV craft – punch out a pile of blooms while watching your favorite shows. The model shown uses a crisp, monochromatic color scheme, but you can use your favorite holiday papers.
Completion Time - Less than 1 hour
Designer - Patty Schaffer

STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam

Balls, 4"

Instructions

  1. Punch several hundred flowers from white cardstock. The final number you need will vary based on size of punch and spacing of flowers.
  2. Thread two flowers onto pearlized head pin and "fluff" petals. Pin onto foam ball. Repeat till ball is covered.
  3. Knot together ends of ¼" ribbon, forming loop. Add dab of glue to top of ornament; place knot on glue and using skewer, push knot into foam ball. Let dry.
  4. Tie bow in ½" ribbon; trim ends. Glue and pin to top of ornament.

  1. I was looking for a quick easy last minute gift and this was perfect! I made a 2" ball instead and it turned out great! I did have to cut the ends of some of the pins because they were long and kept catching other ones. Thanks Kimberly for finding this one! I love it and plan on making more!
